Recibimos moitas preguntas sobre como facemos para fabricar tantas pantallas por día. É certo que un dos segredos é ter moitas máquinas, pero outro son as matemáticas.

Se facemos os cálculos volumétricos para unha liña, serían π · 0,2 ² · 0,25 mm, a máxima altura de capa segura. Esta podería incrementarse, pero aumentarían moito os potenciais erros de impresión.

Nós decidimos cambiar os nozzles das impresoras rápidas a 0,6 mm. Que aumento de velocidade supón isto?

Agora que pensarías que é un 50% máis rápido, vamos facer o noso, que son as mates:

o volume novo sería de π · 0,3² · 0,4, é dicir, a nova altura de capa segura. Isto dá un volume de impresión por movemento de (0,3² · 0,4 · pi) / (0,2 ² · 0,25 · pi) = aprox. 3,6 veces máis rápido.

E agora xa o sabes ti tamén.

E esa non é a única vantaxe. Atáscase moito menos e, se o fai, é moito máis probable que se solucione sen ter que cambiar a punta, que se é de aceiro non che vai gustar moito ter que pagar unha nova.

Se queres desatascar a máquina, compras unhas cantas agullas que sirvan para o diámetro do teu nozzle e listo. Aquí podes ver as que usamos nós:

Pois xa está, non? Vou meter un nozzle de 1 mm e a fundir, que nin é xerundio. Pero agarda un momento: se o nozzle é máis grande, tamén se ‘baba’ máis. Isto fai que axustar as retraccións sexa un pouco máis complicado. De 0,4 a 0,6 xa se nota a diferenza, pero vas ser quen de xestionalo.

Se non sabes como, noutras entradas ensinarémosche a facelo rápido, pero xa verías por Youtube que é un tema de baixar temperatura e subir distancia e velocidade de retracción. Ese é o trío dos fiíños, do que falaremos outro día.

Outro inconveniente é que o detalle é máis baixo, pero hoxe só estamos falando de velocidade. E para impresións con mellor detalle non imos poñernos a imprimir con plástico, que non é a tecnoloxía. Temos 3 impresoras de resina para cando a ocasión o requira 🙂
